Boost should kick in early. Full boost by 3200 I guess. If u r running STD everything then u shouldn't hear the turbo whining. U may hear it spool a little but def not whining. Could be rooted. How many clicks has it done?

Did u just buy the car?

Pull the intake off the front housing on the turbs. Check for oil around the inlet and check the compressor wheel for play. Should have a tiny bit. If it is whining it could mean too much shaft play and the blades are hitting the wall in the turbo. If there is excess oil near the inlet could be ya seal is gone. Do u get smoke every now and then on idle?

Could just be a boost leak at the exhaust manifold.

light noise is normal without the standard airbox, bov noise is normal with a pod even when it is plumbed back.
