driftable? The whole thing's driftable if you've got the nuts... w00t.gif

oh, that downhill corner, is just camera trickery, it's a long uphill corner. but it's funnn!

and as a side note, the guys who run it don't mind if you decide to get a lot sideways up the run.

seeing how a couple of cars were doing it. haha pretty sure it's an acceptable way of driving. after all, i think that drivers/ppl who shun oversteer are plain incomplete drivers. ehhe shows the crowd there are complete drivers!

VERY tempted to enter

but because the scruitineering is on the sat means I have to take 2 days off work and organise accomodation

turns it into an expensive weekend

nar man you can get it scruitneered in the morning before the event actually starts, they just dont like to do every car like this as it can take up some time :)

Cool! How long does the average run take? EDIT - just looked at March 2011 results, most competitors are between 30 to 40 seconds. Get 4 runs in.

Looks like fun!

kinda disapointed that its such a short run and so few attempts

Like doing a whole trackday for 4 laps

^^ true that. 4 runs at 40 seconds each is not much driving for a whole day is it?

It's nice and local but would be good if they had like 10 runs.

The problem with hill climbs - they can only run 1 car at a time.

I know it's not practical to run it any other way, but that's why the number of runs are so limited.

If the total number of entries is limited to say 50 cars, they might fit more runs in.

That means people miss out on entry though. There are alot of motorsport enthusiasts in Newy.

It really highlights the need for a proper race track.

Let's hope this new proposal for Ringwood get's approval and everyone can enjoy some local track action sooner rather than later.
